A lovely touch

December 3, 2020

What a lovely gesture from the All Blacks as they prepared for their traditional war dance the Haka. Captain Sam Cane laid down a New Zealand jersey with the no 10 and the name of Maradona on the back. The New Zealand team autographed the jersey to pay tribute to the iconic soccer hero who recently passed at the age of 60.
New Zealand then went on to beat Argentina convincingly, 38 – 0 and take revenge for the loss 3 weeks ago.
Australia vs Argentina this week should be a cracking match with Australia looking to make up for their draw last time, in the final Tri Nations Test at Bankwest Sadium, Sydney on Saturday 5 December. Wallabies coach Dave Rennie has named James O’Connor at flyhalf for test. Argentina still in shock with the loss of Pablo Matera and two other players, who have been suspended for racist comments made after leaving South Africa in 2012. This will be a major loss to Argentina. Maybe the handicap of 12 /50 could be the bet at 9 /10.

Saturday 5 December also sees Ireland hosting Scotland in the Autumn Nations Cup in the 3rd Place playoff and 1/4 price looks fairly accurate. England France is a coin flip if you go with 17/5 handicap.

Absa Currie cup games all look to be closely fought. The Bulls at home against Toyota Free State should be too strong and at 1/4 not a bad price. As for the Pumas vs the Griquas on Friday the 4th, this will be a much closer contest. Griquas should come out on top 7/10 odds. The final Currie cup match sees Lions vs Western Province at 7/10, Province should take the spoils here.
